How to stay hydrated this winter
updated: Jan. 2024
Now that it’s colder, tackle the winter season with these skincare tips! When the seasons change, our skin needs extra love and attention. We’re being exposed to different temperatures, which tends to dry out our skin.
Even though I am an oily b!tch, I tend to change my skincare routine during the colder seasons just to make sure my skin stays hydrated. I really want to restore my skin’s lipid barrier and lock in the moisture, so I typically change my moisturizer, serums, and add a face oil to the end of my skincare routine.
Let’s get into:
What we should look for in a moisturizer
Moisturizers that help to stay hydrated
Face oils that help to stay hydrated

When it comes to moisturizers, make sure it’s:
Non-comedogenic (won’t clog or block pores)
Non-irritating
Fragrance free
Restores skin lipid barrier
