Best Tip to be Authentically YOU

Stop giving a f*ck about what people think or what people might think.

This is perhaps the biggest and best advice you can ever receive. I know it’s easier said than done, but just, stop giving a f*ck about what people think or thinking about what people might think about you. The only opinion that matters is your own. If you like something, own up to it. You shouldn’t feel guilty about something that makes you feel like you or makes you feel happy.

I used to get sh*t for wearing air force 1’s in middle school, but look at everyone now. So, literally, do what you want. You know what also helps? Having at least one amazing friend to have your back. For instance, if you want to be extra but you’re not ready to do that on your own- I honestly used to hate being extra or dressing up because I would be the only one; me and my bestie used to check in to make sure we’re dressing up for school. Having someone else be extra with you is always fun because not only can you be cute together, but you won’t feel as weird for being so dressed up at school. Or just do what you want, who gives a f*ck, it’s your life.

Having that one bestie really helped because now, I’ll dress up for literally anything. I will be extra, I do not give a f*ck.

Once you start doing things for you, life gets so much easier and lighter. Stop listening to all the noise; wear what you want, do things you like, learn more, keep getting smarter. People will literally be mad if you’re just being yourself and improving yourself; use that. Use that as motivation. They say I can’t? Oh, watch me.

Pro tip: Don’t forget your morals or values!
